The Co-relation between High Performance Sleep and Excellence

The Co-relation between High Performance Sleep and Excellence

When children learn to walk, they don't stop practicing when they sleep. Cameras now show micro muscle movements during sleep — the practice continues physically, not just mentally, in the body itself. The child learns while awake, but the greater part of the consolidation happens during sleep. Excellence is no different: what gets installed in a session deepens during sleep, integrates across contexts, and emerges the next day more available than it was when the day ended.

High performance sleep is not just recovery — it is an active phase of capability consolidation. Antano and Harini build this understanding into their approach to excellence development: the quality of sleep in the period following an installation directly affects how deeply and permanently the installation sets. This is why EIT graduates are often coached on sleep quality as a performance variable — because what happens in sleep determines how much of the day's evolution becomes permanent.
