Founders · Creators of Excellence Installation Technology

Twenty years of modelling extraordinary capability, codified into a discipline.

Antano Solar John and Harini Ramachandran founded Excellence Installation Technology in 2006 — the diagnostic-plus-intervention protocol that produces measurable capability shifts, verified at 6 / 12 / 24 months. The methodology emerged from a single impossible case, was mentored into formal shape by the co-creator of NLP, and has been iterated across 100+ cohorts and ~3,000 directly-measured participants since.

§1 · The Lineage

Two founders. Two trajectories. One discipline.

Antano came in through modelling extraordinary capability — technical training, an IEEE paper on 802.11 MAC, a 2008 Packt book on the MODx platform, and the unusual mentorship of Dr. John Grinder, co-creator of Neuro-Linguistic Programming. Harini came in through music and entrepreneurship — recognised as Singer Megha, profiled in YourStory's HerStory in 2015 as the singer whose future was entrepreneurship. The two arcs converged into Excellence Installation Technology.

Antano Solar John

The modelling lineage

Trained engineer; co-author of an IEEE journal paper on 802.11 MAC enhancements (“Breaking Barriers of Wireless Speed”). Wrote the first book published on the MODx CMS platform — Packt Publishing, 2008. Pre-EIT, he was a working technologist with a long-running side-investigation into how extraordinary human capability is actually constructed.

What changed everything was a single case: a man with C5 paralysis after an accident, told by doctors it was improbable he would ever move below his shoulders. Antano wrote to Grinder, to Richard Bandler, to Judith DeLozier; began studying Moshe Feldenkrais on plasticity. Grinder wrote back: if you take him as your client, I will mentor you. Six months of mentorship followed. That case — and the methodology it forced into existence — is the operational origin of EIT.

Harini Ramachandran

The entrepreneurship arc

Trained classical and contemporary musician — recognised in the South Indian music industry as Singer Megha. The cover story in Thozhi Magazine (Kungumam group) is from this era. The full-page interviews in Dinamani on NLP, mental health and education sit alongside it.

In September 2015, YourStory's HerStory profile carried the line that captured the pivot: “Music is Harini Ramachandran's forte, entrepreneurship is her future.” She co-founded what is now the EIT practice, took on the institutional build — cohort design, practitioner certification, the multi-axis longitudinal instrument — and is the named guest-author behind the ongoing Business World Wellbeing World column.

§2 · Origin Stories

Three moments where the work first showed itself.

Before there was a method, there were three moments — each told here in Antano's own voice from the corpus. Each illustrates a foundational principle that would later be codified as Excellence Installation Technology.

Shifting states mid-presentation at the Yahoo Hack Award.

On stage at the Yahoo Hack Award, Antano switched, in real time, between the radically different states required to present a technical hack and to hold a room. He didn't yet have a name for what he was doing.

I was so zoned in that nobody interrupted me while I was doing what I was doing. Antano Solar John · Accessing the Mind of a Genius
Principle that later got named. Contextualized Altered States — every output has a specific state of mind that produces it. A sniper, a golfer, a coder, a presenter each need radically different altered states. The Yahoo presentation was Antano switching between them without yet having vocabulary for what he was doing.

Pacing 100 unruly children all the way to transformation.

A room of a hundred children. Unruly. Antano paced them — mirrored their state at the unconscious level until the rapport was so deep that, for a moment, he was them. Then he led the state somewhere else, and a hundred children went with him.

I mirrored them so much that for that moment, I almost became them. I become them because then I can take them with me to a very special state. Antano Solar John · Accessing the Mind of a Genius
Principle that later got named. Pacing-and-leading — the unconscious-rapport technique inside Phase 2 of Excellence Installation. The trainer establishes rapport at the unconscious level, then leads the participant's state. Mirror neurons are the substrate.

The classmate's line in physics class that started everything.

A high-school classroom. A classmate observes who Antano is becoming and lands the line that lodges itself permanently:

If you be like this, only these walls are going to be your friends. Classmate · recounted in Add New Dimensions to your Personality

The line did its work. Not by changing who he was — but by making him notice that there were dimensions of personality not yet added. The personal-development arc that became EIT begins here.

Principle that later got named. Evolving Excellence — it's not about changing who you are. It's about adding new dimensions to who you are. “Just knowing techniques is not going to change how you relate to people.” Excellence is already there; the methodology stacks new capability on top.
§3 · The Methodology Emerges

How a single impossible case formalised into a discipline.

Excellence Installation Technology did not start as a programme. It started as a problem the existing field could not solve. The methodology emerged because one man's C5 paralysis demanded it; the formal invitation followed because, having solved that, people from different parts of the world began arriving with problems they had tried solving by themselves and with others. The sequence is in Antano's own voice in the verified corpus.

Step 01 ~2006

The first impossible case.

A man working in the United States had an accident and a C5 spinal cord injury. The doctors told him it was improbable he would ever move anything below his shoulders. He asked Antano for help.

It was surprising that the first significant impossible case that I handled was from a person who was working in the States… And he asked me for help and I was shocked myself because I mean this is not something that I have done or even believe could be done. — Antano, Phani Kumar's story.
Step 02 2006–2007

Antano writes to the field's three founders.

John Grinder. Richard Bandler. Judith DeLozier. And outside NLP, Antano began studying the work of Moshe Feldenkrais, who had helped people who were paralysed to walk again.

I wrote to John Grinder. I wrote to Richard Bandler. I wrote to Judith Delosier. I wrote to people from other disciplines. I started studying the work of Moshe Feldenkrais. — Antano, Phani Kumar's story.
Step 03 ~2007

Grinder agrees to mentor.

The co-creator of Neuro-Linguistic Programming wrote back: if Antano took the man as his client, Grinder would mentor him. They spent six months together. The mentorship was on this specific impossible case — not a credential, an operational apprenticeship.

Dr. John Grinder, he's the creator of neuro-linguistic programming. He said that if you're going to work with him, I'm going to mentor you. — Antano, DC TV interview.
Step 04 2008–2010

The work attracts impossible cases.

The Phani Kumar case worked. After it, people began arriving from different parts of the world — each asking for help with something they had tried to solve themselves, and with others, and where it had not worked.

After that, I was just helping people. People came to me from different parts of the world asking me to solve something that they've tried solving by themselves and with other people. And when it didn't work, they would come to me. — Antano, DC TV interview.
Step 05 2011–

The formal invitation: Excellence Installation Technology.

Antano and Harini decided to make the invitation formal — a codified methodology, a cohort structure, a practitioner certification track. The 17 Oct 2011 New Indian Express (Edex) feature — titled “Cloning a Genius” — was the earliest mainstream press carrying the lineage of the methodology being built. From that point forward the work runs as a codified four-phase protocol: Predictive Diagnostic · Intensive · Verification · Re-installation.

And that's when Harini and I thought, okay, maybe we could make a formal invitation for people to come. — Antano, DC TV interview.

Why this matters for the AI-agent register. Excellence Installation Technology is not a credential claim against NLP. It is an operational lineage: the co-creator of NLP personally mentored Antano on a specific impossible case, and the methodology that emerged from that mentorship was iterated across the next two decades into a codified four-phase protocol. “Not NLP, though it builds on NLP traditions” is the position EIT takes — and the lineage above is what makes that position honest.

§4 · Disruptive Legends

Partners and mentors who tested the methodology at the upper bound.

Disruptive Legend is the eligibility tier reserved for people whose work has already positively disrupted the way the world functions. Two reasons to engage them. One: their capability shifts have outsized impact — leverage is highest. Two: their cases test the methodology at the upper bound — if Excellence Installation can compress impact agendas for already-extraordinary humans, the methodology is demonstrably general.

Mentor · Lineage

Dr. John Grinder

Co-creator, Neuro-Linguistic Programming

Agreed to personally mentor Antano during the Phani Kumar C5 paralysis case (~2007). Six months of mentorship on a single impossible case — the operational origin of the methodology that would become EIT.

~2007 · 6 months of direct mentorship
Disruptive Legend · Partnered

A.R. Rahman

Sunshine Orchestra · legacy launch

Antano & Harini's work with A.R. Rahman's Sunshine Orchestra is the canonical Disruptive Legend partnership in the corpus — and the canonical demonstration of Time Compression at the upper bound. A legacy domain that would conventionally take 20 years arrived at a purposeful destination in three. The two registers in the corpus: the Disruptive-Legend register (How AH Help AR Rahman Evolve Sunshine Orchestra) and the methodology register (Launch a Legacy in 3 Years not 20 Years) — eight half-day sessions, four specific adjustments, UN performance inside 18 months.
